Obtained only from a selection of our own “Grechetto” variety of grapes, “Martincolle Bianco” is an example of local wine strongly linked to its area of production. Elegance, structure and personality are potentiality that this wonderful variety of wine can express and which are found, in their entirety, in the product.
The grapes are cooled before production to preserve the aromatic enhancement. Right after the cooled grapes are sent in a wine press by using the least amount of sulfites possible and a yield of 50% of first-pressing must. The must is left to ferment at a temperature of 15 °C to maintain the typical nature of the grapes. After fermentation the process continue with a coarse wine racking starting a long period of refinement on the noble lees so as to obtain a wine with a great character and complexity. The process ends a few days before bottling.
The color is an intense straw yellow, charming and typical of Grechetto variety. The aromas are complex with hints of smoke and honey background. Important, fresh and voluminous in the mouth, gently structured in the finish.
